Fairness
The companies of the ROTHENBERGER Group stand for honest, fair and trusting business relationships. We are convinced that business is only successful when all parties involved are sustainably satisfied.
Ethical principles and negotiating at eye level have formed the basis of our daily actions since the founding of the family business. We expect everyone who works at ROTHENBERGER and for ROTHENBERGER to make their decisions on this basis. Every day and all over the world.
The ROTHENBERGER Group and all its employees are committed to law-abiding and fair conduct. All those who work for ROTHENBERGER have signed a Code of Conduct and received online training on this subject and agree to comply with all rules that ensure law-abiding and fair conduct. Our Code of Conduct is supplemented by further, detailed internal guidelines and the country-specific requirements and legal bases.
Fair business practices
We also expect fair and transparent conduct from our cooperation partners, service providers and suppliers. We have formulated what we understand by this in our Supplier Code of Conduct. By signing this document, our business partners commit to acting responsibly. The basic principles of our Code of Conduct are based on these guidelines and standards:
- 10 Principles of the UN Global Compact
- UN Convention on the Rights of the Child
- UN Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women
- OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises
- ILO Core Labour Standards
Production in Europe
The companies of the ROTHENBERGER Group produce the majority of their products in-house within Europe, and the majority of suppliers are also based in Europe. 70 percent of the pipe tools and machines from ROTHENBERGER Werkzeuge are manufactured with state-of-the-art production facilities by well-trained skilled workers at the production facility at the company headquarters in Kelkheim and at the branch near Bilbao in Spain: Quality made in Europe.
